why does shield sometimes not work
Thank you for reporting, this is a known issue and is already fixed in our dev build. We'll make a post when we're ready to share the update
why do you auto lose/win if you get to the full scroll, just repeatedly attack/activate every turn abilities until someone wins

Tower description: "Deal 2 dmg for each empty surrounding cell." This should deal 8x2=16 dmg for 8 empty surrounding cells, if I understand the description correctly but only does 6 dmg each turn.

Would love a difficulty setting. Even my first attempt was a win, and now I would like the challenge of facing, say, level 5 in the first round. Or maybe with higher difficulty no life regeneration between battles?

Adding a speed up button during battles might be helpful but that's being nitpicky!

How do you place buildings?

Very fun! I did notice a bug where I was ignoring the enemy's defense from walls.
Possible balance suggestions:
Speed doesn't feel very utilized. I think that it also indirectly nerfs spike because you can end up spiking them right before they house a new troop so the spike does nothing.
Would be cool to have a unit that does damage based on speed or something.
Wheat + housing does a little bit too much damage (I was doing 50+ by turn 3). Wheat feels strictly better than all other damage options - perhaps make it a bit riskier (+0 power if no housing nearby, +2 if there is).
Overall very fun but a little unbalanced (to be expected)
Another bug(?) I noted:
If you buy the decree upgrade after using your final decree you won't benefit until the next round. (Sell last decree to get enough gold to buy upgrade). I think you should technically get 1 more decree.

Очень крутая задумка!! Единственное что вызвало напряжение это оооооооочень долгие анимации сражений. Прям так и хочется взять этот рулон да кааак развернуть....
А еще мне очень понравился типчик котторый в начале вещает такое бубубубубубу - я чет прям заржал. Надеюсь в полной версии мы его еще увидим

Прикольная задумка, но x3 mode бы не помешал. Некоторые карты, как мне показалось, юзлесс - та же кузница, башня или лошадь: есть альтернативы в разы лучше. Пшеница, которую можно комбинировать с домами (которые тебе и так нужны), выглядит куда выгоднее. А церкви - это вообще лютый имбаланс: построил три церкви, и противник в 80% случаев не может перебить хил, а так игра понравилась

Враги сейчас в целом довольно простые, потому что мы смотрели на аналитику и очень много ребят умирало не доходя даже до середины игры. Поскольку это прототип, хочется большему количеству игроков дать возможность увидеть весь текущий контент :)
Тем не менее, мы сейчас активно работаем над контентом, которым будут довольны игроки любого уровня скилла. Разнообразные уровни сложности помогут выразить преимущество кузниц перед фермами в зависимости от ситуации — ну и в целом мы дадим каждому предмету право на существование на вашем столе.

I did well until i had a run where not a single house spawned as a choice, and of course the enemy had a spike, so no matter how good my setup was, i was doomed. That definitely needs balancing.
Otherwise i love the concept and execution, it's really neat :)

We are aware of some rng issues and will definetely have a balance overhaul. For now we just hope you will have better luck in your next run, give it a chance!
It feels a little bullshit that you can immediately be neutered
They always go second to you and if they have spikes that is a very large advantage, always preferable to going first
Right now the only counter play is to strategize your unit position a bit more sparingly. In future though we would think about other ways you can predict enemy spikes.
For the demo the enemies have fixed building layouts, so please feel free to come back and smack those spike abusers!
Cool game. I like the little visual details like the scroll unrolling towards the end, the walls impacting when you lose armor, and the little guys hopping off onto the UI. Mage tower might be a bit OP. It would be nice to have information about what each resource does when hovering (early on I had forgotten that units mult your damage and couldn’t figure out why I was doing zero damage). Gamefeel is good, though an optional speed increase would be welcome. I’m typically not a big fan of auto-battler type games but I liked this one.

Веб билд обновлен. Чуть позже сделаем ещё лучше (там надо подумать чтобы звуки не сломать), но пока что по быстренькому добавили ускорение с каждой новой колонкой в бою
Rly good game. I enjoy both the game feel and tactic/stratagy part! But i want something like x2 or mb x3 animation speed for faster gameplay.
The visual vibe and atmosphere were great, and the game flow reminded me of Backpack Battles.It was a bit lacking in game feel and speed - the hand moves a bit too slowly. Anyways,I really liked the game. I hope the idea keeps developing.

There is some unexplained things, like that you can sell a degree for 5 gold (wich makes two or one gold blocks more worthy to be sold) and that the buff are permanent upgrades, so they're very important
Yeah we didn't have time on Jam to explain all the things, so we resorted to the most important ones. I'm glad you discovered optimal strategies yourself! We plan to improve explanations and balance of the things in post-jam version, so stay tuned!
